Welcome to San Ramon Valley Village
We are part of a nationwide movement of approximately 400 Villages developed over the last 24 years.
We believe in the power of community to create and maintain a vital safety net of care and connection so older adults have the support they need to remain living in their own homes and communities for as long as possible.
Our goal is to supplement the services provided to seniors by local city and county government agencies, not duplicate these services. Our valuable services are provided by background checked and trained volunteers.

Our scope of services includes 3 areas.
Socialization opportunities in the form of gathering and meeting with others for coffee, lunch, dinner and happy hours along with educational presentations, game playing, arts and crafts and exercise activities. We will address all aspects of people, including their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual sides, but most important, meeting with others is life enhancing and extending.
Services to the individual members by volunteers who will drive them to appointments, go shopping for them, pick up prescriptions, perform simple home repairs and gardening help, computer and phone tech assistance, friendly visit / companion, check-in calls, pet care and more.

Our heart is at the center of everything we do. Volunteers, staff, and neighbors come together to offer compassion, kindness, and friendship. Every service and every interaction is driven by a genuine care for our seniors’ well-being.

Home is where our members feel comfortable, independent, and connected. By providing practical help and social opportunities, we enable seniors to remain in their own homes — surrounded by community — for as long as safely possible.
