The Village Movement started in Boston in 1999 and approximately 400 villages have spread across the nation to this day. We are bringing this proven model to our elder population in the San Ramon Valley. We believe that a better experience of aging in your own home is possible when we can grow and rely on each other in our community.
San Ramon Valley Village is a volunteer driven non-profit 501c3 organization. Founded by local residents, the San Ramon Valley Village provides a way for older residents who want to remain in their own homes to request help, and for background checked volunteers to lend a hand. It’s really about neighbors helping neighbors.
